Is participation confidential?

Yes. All information is protected by federal law. Your company will have no access to any personal health information.

What if the evaluation shows I’m at risk for cardiac disease?

At the end of the evaluation, you will be asked if you want us to follow up with you. If you agree (and only if you agree), you will receive a FREE Cardiac Screening Assessment. A Pima Heart Representative will contact you and set up a 20-minute screening session with our cardiac clinician.

What happens at the screening?

You are given a painless blood test to check your cholesterol levels, and your blood pressure is measured. The clinician will ask you about your medical history as it pertains to cardiac care.

Is there follow-up after the screening?

Yes, you will receive a confidential report. If the clinician thinks you should see a doctor about this, you will be referred to your family doctor or a cardiac specialist.
